Angelo’s Song

Inception:

Frances composed this little theme and variations during our second year together, 1980.  Two years later, the name of our brilliantly original friend (pictured), who inspired the piece, was fictionalized by Frances to Angelo for her stage play God Help Me I Might Be Calculated Into An Institution, (his line), produced by Cecil Johnson at Shasta College in Redding, CA. Frances reworked it, and in 1991 it was produced by Angelo Zuccolo at Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY.  [Tim]
